WorkOtter April 2014 Release Adds Best Practices and Improved Forecasting

St. Louis, Missouri – 05/01/2014 WorkOtter cloud-based project portfolio management (PPM) solution for small and mid-size companies announced the immediate availability of the April 2014 WorkOtter Release to v5.1. The April release ads a redesigned welcome page and a hybrid of team and workplan generated forecasting among other improvements.

The welcome page of WorkOtter has been thoroughly redesigned to provide users with quick access to new feature demos, best practices and a way to connect through social media. This allows customers immediate access to the latest information on WorkOtter and industry standards from within the application.

The new Team and Workplan based forecasting came directly from enterprise feedback on the difficulty of using PPM solutions for yearly support. In support organizations, individuals were committed as a percentage of their time for a year, but often were assigned to immediate work. Now project managers can view what people are doing in the short term and still keep their availability limited for future work.
